Londinium is another ancient name of London, though indirectly.
To be precise, it is the City of London, an inner part of London itself.
Anyway.
LONDON da! What dream it is to be able to set foot on the land of.. dust. AHAHA.
But seriously, UK's air is just dusty.
ANYWAY!!
LONDON!
I boarded the 0900 bus to London from Cardiff, which all the way I was packed with total excitement as I was going to meet friends that I miss having around!
We arrived at the main coach station, Victoria and had a brief reunion before moving to check in at Angel Islington.
But before that, we headed to King's Cross Station where Platform 9 ¾ is!
"Ahh~! Sayonara, minna-"
I WASN'T ACCEPTED!!!
Well, I guess that's because I haven't got my offer letter yet. I'm quoting my friend here: HOGWARTS! 10 YEARS LATE AND I'M STILL WAITING!
This is where we stay; Rosebery Hall. Total for two nights is £45.
After a little snack, we began exploring!
As most of you might know, the sun sets unexpectedly early in the UK now. Even though it's only 1600, it's already dark in town.
St. Paul's Cathedral
There's this huge protest ground outside which I'm not too sure of its motive. You can go find out if you like.
When we reach, I don't see anything so millennium about it. Or maybe its level of millennium-ness is too high for me to grasp. AHAHAHA.
From the bridge.
First group picture after some time!
Since everyone's in the mood, I made Audi's favourite crooked peace sign endorsed here!
Original.
Perfectly imitated!!!
Next on, CHINATOWN!
To tell you I did not nearly burst into tears at the sight of this is a LIE!
When you turn that corner..
The gateway to HEAVEN~!!!!!!!!!!!
I am like a kid in a candy shop!!
We had dinner at this restaurant called Four Seasons which apparently have received many praises and recommendations.
IT IS AS IT IS SAID!!!!!!!!!!!
LOOK. AT. THIS.
OH. MY. ME.
To you commoners out there who never left home for such a long period of time, this is something you will not be able to apprehend.
For the entire time, we were tearing out of happiness each and every time the delicious taste touch our tongue.
Which reminds me. Wong May Jean says lemon is salty, not sour.
SO! As I was saying, the food is too tasty and we devour it within minutes! All of us had at least two bowls of rice!
M&M's WORLD!!!
Colours! COLOURS EVERYWHERE!!
It is fated. They were having a promotion when we went! Buy 500g, free 500g!
Piccadilly Circus!
This is somewhere near Convent Garden.
Took one of the red buses back!
That concludes Day #1!
MOVING ON!
Day #2!
We bought day pass. BECAUSE IT'S THE ONLY SANE THING TO DO.
A day pass costs us £6.60 that covers most tourist spots. If you have a young persons card, you only pay £5.30 but that ticket will only be usable after 1000.
Somehow after Day #1, most of us were able to understand the map already.
Angel Islington.
On the train!
I don't know what is this.
Tower Bridge da!
Slavery is permitted..
..when it comes to jump shots!!
Get it? This is Tower Bridge, not London Bridge!!
"Minna-san, this is Tower Bridge desu~~!"
Group picture!
London Bridge. B-O-R-I-N-G.
On our way to Buckingham Palace.
Tadaa~!
The people were waiting for the shift change. But there's nothing much. We rushed all the way there too. Mou..!
"MY EYES!!! TOO BRIGHT!!"
For some reasons, this building looks like a yummy cream cake to me.
Trafalgar Square!
Lions!
These kids.. *shakeshead*
Christmas Market!
Westminster Building and Mr. Ben!
First name: Big.
Last name: Ben.
*virtuallyshootseveryoneinthebackground*
MOAR group picture!
Westminster Abbey.
We did not go in because it costs £16 per entry!
IT'S A CHURCH, DAMN IT!
Honto!
"Oh my, we're so tired~ Let us just sit here for a bit.."
Jubilee line; Westminster.
"Oh my, we're all so tired~ Let us just lean here for a bit.."
Winter Wonderland
Also, in case you don't know, my camera KO-ed from here onwards because I fell down and destroyed it, in a way.
*sigh*
Oh, then we had dinner at this really good Malaysian restaurant in Chinatown, very near Four Seasons.
There goes Day #2!
Day #3 is specially catered for free and easy where all of us are free to go meet whoever we're supposed to meet and so on.
I headed to Harrods and Oxford Street with the Quin!
Harrods!
The giant bear. You can buy it for £1900.
I'm not joking! There's a price tag there!!
The one on the left reminds me of the Clow card Windy.
Goodnessssss~! Oxford Street is so damn long.
So are every other streets that are connected to it.
We left London at 1600, on a bus to Liverpool for Christmas, where another round of adventure begun.
