Twenties Girl

A review!

I quite like Sophie Kinsella. However, I don't really like her Shopaholic series, don't ask me why.
Other than the series, I think I pretty much read all her SophieKinsella books. Not the MadeleineWickham ones though.

Anyway! I quite like the story and I teared at the ending. The ending is how the story should have ended so I have no complains. You can't have a ghost hanging around forever yes? And I grew to actually like Sadie. When I read about how Lara find out the truth about Stephen and Sadie, I literally screamed. Hahaa.

The outline of the story goes like this: Lara's great aunt has been haunting her since the funeral for her to find a piece of dragonfly necklace. Apart from the scavenging, sideline stories included how Lara realise that she and her ex (forcefully present) boyfriend are not meant to be, how she met a Rudolph Valentino lookalike (I actually Google-d this guy to imagine how he look like; POWER OF GOOGLE!) and fell in love and how her uncle is the world's biggest jerk.
I guess the book is interesting in a way.

In my opinion, the title of the book can be deciphered as where two 20 something girls or girls from the 1920s. I love the flexibility.

It's a good book to laugh about =D
