This movie made me discovered the entire history of the Romanov family and the time of the siege. It is not made based on the revolution but rather painted the background of it. Prominent characters were however actual historical figures.
Anyway, it's a very nice movie in my opinion and has an awesome list of songs which one is currently on replay.
I really like the character Dimitri in the movie. That is also my first encounter with that name. Thus, I really like the name as well. Everytime the name Dimitri came to my ear, all I can picture is Dimitri from the movie and INSTANTLY a smile goes on my face.
Until I got to know a real life Dimitri who is my classmate now. I am not saying he is bad but not only he is NOT the opposite of my version of Dimitri but he came out from an entirely different world. So that's how the image of my version of Dimitri got shattered *sobs*
But watching the movie again just now relived that moment for a while =)
Until I have to go back to reality *wails*
